SAINT-PETERSBURG, July 27. / TASS /. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev discussed cooperation in energy, industry and other areas with the head of the Belarusian government Andrei Kobyakov.
The meeting between Medvedev and Kobyakov took place on the eve of the EurAsEC Intergovernmental Council in St. Petersburg.
The heads of the governments of Russia and Belarus discussed topical issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation in energy, industry, agribusiness and other spheres.
In addition, the meeting discussed the implementation of joint cooperative projects.
Medvedev and Kobyakov noted the importance of enhancing the effectiveness of cooperation within the framework of the Union State and EurAsEC.
